A statue of a reverent praying angel marks a grave at Memphis's famous Elmwood Cemetery. Established in 1852, it is the oldest cemetery in Memphis. It is an example of a rural garden cemetery.

As an artist, I love that I am creating something "ex nihilo," or from nothing. I love the freedom of combining shapes, movement, colors into something beautiful or intriguing that comes purely from my imagination.
